This policy explains how 4F Enterprises (“we”) collects, uses, and protects information submitted through https://www.4fenterprises.org, including the public 4F Enterprises website, product and quote inquiries, and the customer design-approval web app.
Information we collect
Website visitors, shoppers, and quote customers
- Name, email address, mobile phone number, and company name when provided
- Billing, shipping, pickup, or delivery information needed to fulfill an order
- Product selections, requested dimensions, material choices, quantities, and order history
- Logos, drawings, photographs, design files, sketches, and other information supplied for custom fabrication
- Messages, quote requests, approvals, and other communications about a project
Payment-card and buy-now-pay-later credentials are processed by the applicable payment provider. We do not need to store a full payment-card number in the 4F Enterprises application in order to process an order.
Web-app users and approval customers
- Staff mobile number, name, sign-in timestamps, and a salted cryptographic hash of the staff passphrase
- Customer name, phone number, company name if supplied, job photographs, and comments
- When an approval or change request is submitted: the entered name, date/time, IP address, and browser user-agent string as part of the approval record
- A browser push subscription when an authorized staff user enables notifications
Automatically collected information
Our hosting provider may create standard server logs such as IP address, requested page, timestamp, and browser information. Signed-in staff receive a required session cookie. We do not use that cookie for cross-site advertising.
How we use information
- Prepare quotes, designs, and fabricated products
- Process and fulfill purchases, pickups, deliveries, returns, and refunds
- Communicate about an order, design approval, production status, or customer-service request
- Operate staff accounts and keep each business tenant's data separated
- Maintain records of customer approvals and completed work
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and security incidents and comply with applicable legal obligations
We do not sell personal information and do not use customer mobile information for third-party marketing.
Service providers
We may share only the information reasonably needed with providers that help us run the business and website, such as hosting/database providers, shipping carriers, payment processors, buy-now-pay-later providers selected at checkout, and communications providers.
- Railway — website hosting, database, and application storage
- Twilio — transactional text-message delivery where enabled
- Apple and Google — browser push delivery for staff who enable notifications
- Payment providers — payment authorization, fraud screening, settlement, refunds, and installment services when those options are offered
Text messages
When transactional SMS is enabled, we may send messages about a specific quote, order, design approval, pickup, or job. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies by order.
Mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-message originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with third parties except aggregators and providers necessary to deliver the messaging service.
Custom-work photographs and files
Job photographs uploaded through the approval app are re-encoded, which removes common embedded metadata such as camera GPS data. Job files are access-controlled by the business session or the unique customer job link. Customer-supplied artwork and design files are used to quote, design, manufacture, and document the requested work.
Retention and security
We retain order, job, approval, payment-reference, and accounting records as reasonably needed for fulfillment, business records, disputes, warranties, and legal obligations. The website is served over HTTPS. Staff passphrases are stored as salted hashes and application access is restricted by business and role. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to transactional text messages to stop future SMS
- Contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to records we must retain
- Staff may disable browser push notifications in the app or device settings
Children
The site and services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as our products, payment options, or services change. The updated date above will be revised when we do.
